PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce oscillation generated on a cable, which is connected to a support part and to which tension is imparted, by an earthquake or the like, without damaging the cable.SOLUTION: A vibration reduction device includes: a cylinder body fixed to a support part; a connection member to one end part of which a cable, to which tension is imparted, is connected, and of which the other end part is arranged inside the cylinder body; a plurality of expansion parts deviating the axial position of the connection member, and expanding outside from the outer peripheral surface of the connection member; a second expansion member expanding inside from the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body, and arranged on both sides of the first expansion part in the axial direction; and an attenuation material provided between the first expansion part and the second expansion part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
