PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize harmony between stability and response of lane maintenance control by generating a control amount rightwise from an EPS compensation control to cope with degradation of lane maintenance performance, in a case where the lane maintenance control makes steering leftwise in the lane maintenance control, since the compensation control which the EPS has normally acts to generate a control amount along the direction which obstructs control in a vehicle steering system.SOLUTION: In a vehicle control device which performs EPS control during automatic steering, an attenuation control amount in the EPS control is reduced if a steering speed is a predetermined threshold value or less while there is a request for lane maintenance control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両用操舵システムでは、通常EPSが有する補償制御が作用して制御を阻害する方向の制御量を発生させるので、車線維持制御に於いては、車線維持制御が左方向に操舵した場合、EPS補償制御は右方向に制御量を発生させ、車線維持性能が低下することに対処し、車線維持制御の安定性と応答性の間の調和を最適化する。【解決手段】自動操舵中にEPS制御が行われる車両制御装置に於いて、操舵速度が所定の閾値以下であり且車線維持制御の要求がある場合にEPS制御に於ける減衰制御量を減少させる。【選択図】図2
