PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing member structure for a vehicle that can sequentially progress destruction from tip end parts to base end side parts of a shock absorbing member at a collision of the vehicle and thereby securing stable EA performance.SOLUTION: A shock absorbing member structure for a vehicle comprises: a pair of left and right rear side frames 1; a pair of left and right crash cans 10 containing a plurality of first carbon fibers arrayed so as to extend continuously in a longitudinal direction; and a bumper lane 3 mounted on tip end parts of the pair of rear side frames 1 through the pair of crash cans 10. Crash cans 10 respectively have: a rear end-side part having flange parts folded back substantially in an L-shape in cross section so as to cross to each other in a longitudinal direction; and a tip end wall part in which a mounting part is formed for mounting the bumper lane 3. There are provided a pair of brackets 20 and 30 which sandwich base end-side parts of the crash cans 10 from a thickness direction of the crash cans 10 to fix the parts to rear end parts of the rear side frames 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両衝突時、衝撃吸収部材の先端部分から基端側部分に亙って逐次破壊を進行させることができ、安定したEA性能を確保することができる車両の衝撃吸収部材構造を提供する。【解決手段】左右1対のリヤサイドフレーム1と、前後方向に連続して延びるように配列された複数の第1炭素繊維を含む左右1対のクラッシュカン10と、1対のリヤサイドフレーム1の先端部に1対のクラッシュカン10を介して取り付けられたバンパレイン3とを備え、クラッシュカン10は、前後方向に交差するように断面略L字状に折り曲げられたフランジ部を有する後端側部分と、バンパレイン3を取り付けるための取付部が形成された先端壁部とを有し、クラッシュカン10の基端側部分をクラッシュカン10の厚さ方向から挟み込んでリヤサイドフレーム1の後端部に固定する1対のブラケット20,30を設けている。【選択図】図1
