PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing member structure for a vehicle that can sequentially progress destruction from tip end parts to base end side parts of a shock absorbing member at a collision of the vehicle and thereby securing stable EA performance.SOLUTION: A shock absorbing member structure for a vehicle V comprises: a pair of left and right rear side frames 1; a pair of left and right crash cans 10 containing a plurality of first carbon fibers 51 arrayed so as to extend continuously in a longitudinal direction; and a bumper lane 3 mounted on tip end parts of the pair of rear side frames 1 through the pair of crash cans 10. The crash cans 10 respectively comprise: a side wall part 11 extending longitudinally; and a tip end wall part 12 which is continuous to the side wall part 11 and in which a mounting part 12a is formed for mounting the bumper lane 3. A crossing angle θ between the side wall part 11 and the tip end wall part 12 is designed to be an obtuse angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12

    【課題】車両衝突時、衝撃吸収部材の先端部分から基端側部分に亙って逐次破壊を進行させることができ、安定したEA性能を確保することができる車両の衝撃吸収部材構造を提供する。【解決手段】左右1対のリヤサイドフレーム1と、前後方向に連続して延びるように配列された複数の第1炭素繊維51を含む左右1対のクラッシュカン10と、1対のリヤサイドフレーム1の先端部に1対のクラッシュカン10を介して取り付けられたバンパレイン3とを備えた車両Vの衝撃吸収部材構造であって、クラッシュカン10が、前後に延びる側壁部11と、側壁部11に連なり且つバンパレイン3を取り付けるための取付部12aが形成された先端壁部12とを備え、側壁部11と先端壁部12との交差角度θが鈍角になるように形成されている。【選択図】 図12
