PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crossing control apparatus that secures high safety of a railroad crossing by avoiding the occurrence of a crossing accident even when an abnormal condition occurs after the railroad crossing is closed.SOLUTION: A crossing control apparatus 1 generates a crossing protection pattern 30 by issuing a crossing control start command to a crossing gate 3 of a railroad crossing 4 when a train 2 reaches a crossing control start point (A), and copes with the occurrence of an abnormal condition after the closing of the railroad crossing by maintaining the crossing protection pattern 30 even after the closing of the railroad crossing 4 without elimination of the crossing protection pattern 30 when receiving information on the closing of the crossing gate 3 of the railroad crossing 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
