PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric linear motion actuator capable of achieving space saving and high torque, and capable of achieving cost reduction by simplifying a structure.SOLUTION: An electric linear motion actuator 1 includes: an electric motor 2; a linear motion mechanism 3 for converting a rotation motion of the electric motor 2 into a rectilinear motion of a linear motion part via a rotation input/output shaft 5; and a housing 4 for holding the linear motion mechanism 3. The electric motor 2 includes a stator 7 and a rotor 8 arranged so that the direction of a magnetic pole generating an interlinkage magnetic flux contributing to torque is in parallel with a rotary shaft in the electric motor 2. At an axial direction end surface of the housing 4, the stator 7 is connected and arranged. The rotor 8 is arranged with an interval in the axial direction with respect to a torque generating surface in the stator 7. The rotor 8 is fixed to the rotation input/output shaft 5 of the linear motion mechanism 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】省スペース化および高トルク化を図ると共に、構造を簡素化してコスト低減を図ることができる電動式直動アクチュエータを提供する。【解決手段】この電動式直動アクチュエータ1は、電動モータ2と、電動モータ2の回転運動を回転入出力軸5を介して直動部の直進運動に変換する直動機構3と、直動機構3を保持するハウジング4とを備える。電動モータ2は、トルクに寄与する鎖交磁束を発生する磁極の向きが、電動モータ2における回転軸と平行に配置された固定子7および回転子8を備える。ハウジング4の軸方向端面に、固定子7が連結して配置されている。固定子7におけるトルク発生面に対し軸方向に間隔を隔てて回転子8が配置され、回転子8が直動機構3の回転入出力軸5に固定されている。【選択図】図1
