PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a dynamic friction coefficient.SOLUTION: A dynamic friction coefficient calculation device calculates a dynamic friction coefficient of a ground-contact surface of a wheel of a vehicle body having at least one wheel. The vehicle body includes: a horizontal acceleration sensor outputting a first measured value aindicating horizontal acceleration of the vehicle body; and a wheel sensor outputting a second measured value indicating an angular speed or acceleration of a predetermined position of the wheel. A vehicle comprises: an input interface receiving the first measured value aand the second measured value; and an arithmetic circuit calculating the dynamic friction coefficient of the ground-contact surface by dividing a difference between a calculated value aobtained by time-differentiating a rotating speed at an outermost periphery of the wheel obtained from the second measured value of the wheel and a first predetermined value and the first measured value aby a second predetermined value corresponding to gravitational acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
