PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce attachment distortion when an upper bracket and a lower bracket are fastened by a fastening tool.SOLUTION: A steering support structure 10 includes a steering support bracket 20 mounted to an instrument panel reinforcement member 14. The steering support bracket 20 includes: an upper bracket 22 joined to an upper surface side of the instrument panel reinforcement member 14 by welding; and a lower bracket 24 disposed at a lower surface side of the instrument panel reinforcement member 14. The steering support structure 10 further includes: a front side fastening section 36 in which the upper bracket 22 and the lower bracket 24 are fixed to each other in a fastened manner at a front side of the instrument panel reinforcement member 14; a rear side fastening section 38 in which the upper bracket 22 and the lower bracket 24 are fixed to each other in a fastened manner at a rear side of the instrument panel reinforcement member 14; and a nut 46 being provided between the upper bracket 22 and the lower bracket 24 in the front side fastening section 36 and having an adjustable height.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
