PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned flight inspection machine which can move along an inspection object while maintaining a constant distance between the inspection object and an inspection device without affecting inspection, and to provide a boiler inspection method using the unmanned flight inspection machine.SOLUTION: An unmanned flight inspection machine 1a includes: an unmanned aircraft 2 having a body 8 and at least one propeller 10 rotatably attached to the body; and an inspection device 4 mounted on the body of the unmanned aircraft; and a guide mechanism 6a which is attached to the body of the unmanned aircraft and used to maintain a constant distance between the inspection object and the inspection device. The guide mechanism includes at least one pair of rotating bodies 12 which are rotatably disposed at both sides of the unmanned aircraft and separated from each other in a respective rotation axis direction. A distance between the pair of rotating bodies can be varied in the rotation axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
