To provide a traveling control device for reducing possibility that a moving object approaching an own vehicle comes into contact with another vehicle, which is caused by a dead angle area produced via existence of the own vehicle.SOLUTION: Controlling of movement in longitudinal and lateral directions of a vehicle in a specific scene is varied between a case where the vehicle is located in the specific scene, and a moving object is recognized on at least any of a lateral side and a rear side of the vehicle on the basis of acquired external information of the vehicle; and another case where the moving object is not recognized on any of the lateral side and the rear side of the vehicle on the basis of the acquired external information of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
