To allow for accurately computing velocity in various environments by using a GNSS receiver and external sensor.SOLUTION: A velocity computation device detects satellites whose signals can be received, and identifies satellites blocked by objects using a detection device for detecting objects. The velocity computation device then excludes blocked satellites from the satellites whose signals can be received to identify satellites whose signals can be properly received, and computes velocity of a mobile vehicle using signals from the satellites whose signals can be received properly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10

    【課題】GNSS受信機と外界センサとを用いることで、様々な環境において高精度に速度を算出する。【解決手段】速度算出装置は、信号を受信可能な衛星を検出するとともに、地物を検出する検出装置を用いて、地物により遮蔽される衛星を特定する。そして、速度算出装置は、信号を受信可能な衛星から遮蔽される衛星を除外して、正常に信号を受信可能な衛星を特定し、正常に信号を受信可能な衛星からの信号に基づいて移動体の速度を算出する。【選択図】図10
