To provide a technique for charging a high-capacity vehicular power supply system efficiently in a short time.SOLUTION: Positive-side switches S1-S4 are connected between a positive power line of a power storage unit 11 and positive electrode terminals of multiple power storage modules M1-M4. Negative-side switches S8-S11 are connected between a negative power line of the power storage unit 11 and negative electrode terminals of the multiple power storage modules M1-M4. Serial connection switches S5-S7 are connected between a positive electrode terminal of one of two adjacent power storage modules among the multiple power storage modules M1-M4 and a negative electrode terminal of the other power storage module. A management unit 12 connects the multiple power storage modules M1-M4 in parallel when driving a vehicle 1 with power discharged from the power storage unit 11, and connects the multiple power storage modules M1-M4 in series/in series-parallel when charging the power storage unit 11 from a battery charger 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
