To equalize voltages of multiple power storage devices with a voltage difference therebetween on an early stage.SOLUTION: A vehicular power supply system S in which a first battery pack 10 and a second battery pack 20 are disposed in parallel comprises: detection units 16 and 26 for detecting voltages of the first battery pack 10 and the second battery pack 20, respectively, at the time of system activation; and a control device 90 for discriminating whether there is a voltage difference between the first battery pack 10 and the second battery pack 20. In a case where it is discriminated that there is a voltage difference, the control device 90 equalizes the voltages of the first battery pack 10 and the second battery pack 20 by supplying power from a battery pack having a higher voltage, out of the first battery pack 10 and the second battery pack 20, to a power consumption apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
