To provide an airbag deployment method which can achieve improvement of safety of occupants.SOLUTION: In an airbag deployment method, an outer airbag 6 is deployed between a collision side occupant P as seen in a vehicle width direction and a door 4 of a vehicle 1 and then an inner airbag 7 is deployed between the collision side occupant P as seen in the vehicle width direction and an occupant P at the opposite side when the vehicle 1, in which the two occupants P are seated adjacent to each other in the vehicle width direction at a vehicle interior, is collided from the outer side as seen in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
