To provide a latch unit which disperses and receives an increasing moving force of shutting a door of a striker 12.SOLUTION: A latch unit 11 includes: a latch 17 which rotates by engagement with a striker 12 from un-latch position to an excess rotational position over a latch position; and a ratchet 19 which engages with the latch 17 which is brought back to the latch position by resilience of a latch spring 20 from the excess rotational position, and keeps the engagement of the latch 17 and the striker. The latch unit 11 includes plural receiving members which receive excess rotational force of the latch 17 by contacting the latch 17 when the latch 17 reaches the excess rotational position. They are dispersedly located in more than two quadrants out of four quadrants divided by a vertical line B and a horizontal line C passing through the rotational center of a latch axis 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】増大するストライカ12の閉扉移動力を分散させて支受する。【解決手段】本ラッチユニット11は、ストライカ12との係合によりアンラッチ位置からラッチ位置を超えて余剰回転位置まで回転するラッチ17と、余剰回転位置からラッチバネ20の弾力でラッチ位置に戻されるラッチ17に係合してラッチ17とストライカとの係合を保持するラチェット19とを備える。ラッチユニット11はラッチ17が余剰回転位置に至ったときにラッチ17に対して当接することでラッチ17の余剰回転力を支受する支受部材を複数備える。ラッチ軸16の回転中心を通る垂直線Bと水平線Cとにより区画される4つの象限のうち二箇所以上の象限に分散配置する。【選択図】図8
