To provide a front pillar structure intended for a front pillar that has a transparent member between a forward pillar frame member and backward pillar frame member, and capable of inhibiting occurrence of a pillar break even when a load is inputted from a vehicle front.SOLUTION: A front pillar structure 10 includes a forward pillar frame member 30 and backward pillar frame member 40 constituting a front pillar 20, a transparent member 50 interposed between the forward pillar frame member 30 and the backward pillar frame member 40 and included in the front pillar 20, a first joint 82 formed by joining an upper end 32C of the forward pillar frame member 30 to a roof side rail 22 disposed outside in a vehicle width direction of a roof panel 16, and a second joint 84 formed by joining an upper end 42C of the backward pillar frame member 40 to a rail outer panel 24.
