To provide a vehicular braking device and a control method of the same capable of reducing the total number of filters disposed for collecting a foreign matter in brake fluid flowing through a pressure reduction valve.SOLUTION: In a vehicular braking device capable of distributing braking force into hydraulic braking force and regenerative braking force, a control device (90) opens a first pressure reduction valve (54aa) in a condition in which pressure of a side of a first hydraulic brake (38a) for generating hydraulic braking force at a front wheel (RF) is higher than pressure of a side of an accumulator (71a), where the accumulator is supplied with the brake fluid during pressure reduction by the first pressure reduction valve (54aa) for reducing pressure of the hydraulic braking force of the first hydraulic brake (38a) or by a second pressure reduction valve (54ba) for reducing pressure of the hydraulic braking force of a second hydraulic brake (38b) for generating the hydraulic braking force at a rear wheel (LR).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
