To provide a vehicle body side part structure capable of efficiently utilizing a portion to which an adhesive is not applied.SOLUTION: A vehicle body side part structure has: a door opening formed by pillars of a vehicle; and a fragile part 30 provided at the pillar 18. The pillar 18 comprises an inner member 24 and an outer member 22. Each of a flange part 28 of the inner member 24 and a flange part 26 of the outer member 22 has areas where the members are joined by an adhesive 32 and welding and a portion where the members are joined only by welding. The fragile part 30 is provided at the portion where the members are joined only by welding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
