To provide a technique which can identify a movement direction of a moving object existing in a hall of an elevator on the basis of a photographed image of a camera and estimate the getting-on intention of the moving object on the basis of the physical relation and movement direction of the moving object with respect to a car of the elevator.SOLUTION: A getting-on detection system (10) comprises: a moving object decision part (33) which decides a moving object area (MOA) having object direction information about the movement direction of a moving object (1) in an image; and an intention estimation part (421) which estimates the presence/absence of the getting-on intention to a car (20) of the moving object (1) whose image is shown in the moving object area (MOA) on the basis of a plurality of virtual determination areas that are previously set in the image and a prescribed effective entering angle range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
