To suppress the generation of excessive acceleration/deceleration speed to improve riding comfort.SOLUTION: A traveling assist device 200 is provided with: an acquisition unit 210 for acquiring from a vehicle 100 an acceleration/deceleration distance for completing acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle 100; a detection unit 220 for detecting an acceleration/deceleration speed of the vehicle 100; and a control unit 240 for controlling the traveling of the vehicle 100. When an absolute value of the acceleration/deceleration speed detected by the detection unit 220 is less than a predetermined threshold value, the control unit 240 accelerates/decelerates the vehicle 100 on the basis of the acceleration/deceleration distance. When an absolute value of the acceleration/deceleration speed detected by the detection unit 220 is a predetermined threshold value or more, the control unit extends the acceleration/deceleration distance and accelerates/decelerates the vehicle 100 on the basis of the extended acceleration/deceleration distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】過剰な加減速度の発生を抑制し、車両の乗り心地を高める。【解決手段】走行支援装置200は、車両100から、当該車両100の加減速を完了させるまでの加減速距離を取得する取得部210と、車両100の加減速度を検出する検出部220と、車両100の走行を制御する制御部240とを備えている。制御部240は、検出部220が検出した加減速度の絶対値が所定の閾値未満である場合には、加減速距離に基づいて車両100を加減速させ、検出部220が検出した加減速度の絶対値が所定の閾値以上である場合には、加減速距離を延長し、当該延長した加減速距離に基づいて車両100を加減速させる。【選択図】図1
