To provide a station platform monitoring system which can accurately detect a dangerous event on a station platform and evoke a train driver's attention.SOLUTION: A station platform monitoring system which detects and notifies dangerous events on a station platform based on images taken by cameras installed on a vehicle comprises plural cameras installed on side surfaces of the vehicle, dangerous event detection means provided so as to correspond to each of the plural cameras, for analyzing the taken images and detecting the dangerous events, determination means for logically calculating detection results by plural dangerous event detection means provided so as to correspond to the cameras adjacently installed and determining generation domains of the dangerous events, and detection results output means for notifying generations of the dangerous events to a perception based on the determination results by the determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】駅ホーム上の危険事象を正確に検知することができ、それによって列車の運転士に対して注意を喚起することができる駅ホームの監視システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両に搭載されたカメラにより撮影された画像に基づいて駅ホーム上における危険事象を検知し報知する駅ホームの監視システムにおいて、車両の側面に設置された複数のカメラと、複数のカメラのそれぞれに対応して設けられ、撮影された画像を解析して危険事象を検知する危険事象検知手段と、隣接して設置されているカメラに対応して設けられている複数の危険事象検知手段による検知結果を論理演算して危険事象の発生領域を判定する判定手段と、判定手段による判定結果に基づいて危険事象の発生を知覚に対して報知する検知結果出力手段と、を備えるようにした。【選択図】図2
