To provide a fuel cell system of a fuel cell vehicle with which it is possible to stably utilize regenerative brakes, even in the case where the charge rate of a power storage device is high.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises: a power converter having the function to raise the generated electric power of a fuel cell and the function to lower the regenerated electric power of a motor generator and the stored electric power of a power storage device; a heat resistor for generating heat using the regenerated electric power of the motor generator or the stored electric power of the power storage device; switching means provided between the fuel cell and heat resistor and the power converter, for switching between a first connection state in which the fuel cell and the power converter are connected and a second connection state in which the heat resistor and the power converter are connected; and a control device for controlling the fuel cell system. When the charge rate of the power storage device is greater than or equal to a prescribed threshold, the control device puts the switching means into the second connection state, causing the regenerated electric power of the motor generator to be consumed by the heat resistor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】蓄電装置の充電率が高い場合であっても回生ブレーキを安定的に利用可能な燃料電池車両の燃料電池システムを提供する。【解決手段】燃料電池システムは、燃料電池の発電電力を昇圧する機能、及び、モータジェネレータの回生発電電力及び蓄電装置の蓄電電力を降圧する機能を有する電力変換器と、モータジェネレータの回生発電電力又は蓄電装置の蓄電電力を用いて発熱する発熱抵抗器と、燃料電池及び発熱抵抗器と電力変換器との間に設けられ、燃料電池と電力変換器とを接続する第1の接続状態と、発熱抵抗器と電力変換器とを接続する第2の接続状態と、を切り換える切換手段と、燃料電池システムを制御する制御装置と、を備え、制御装置は、蓄電装置の充電率が所定の閾値以上の場合、切換手段を第2の接続状態として、モータジェネレータの回生発電電力を発熱抵抗器で消費させる。【選択図】図4
