To provide a front bumper which has both of low rigidity in which the bumper can deform under loads applied from a front and an oblique upper side of the front of a vehicle at the time of a collision to absorb energy and high rigidity in which the bumper does not deform under loads from an upper side of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A front bumper 1 comprises a bumper fascia 11, an upper panel 13, an impact absorbing member 2 provided inside the upper panel, and a rigidity member 3. The impact absorbing member is formed of a front wall 211, upper walls (a front upper wall 212 and a rear upper wall 221), a rear wall 222 and a lower wall 223 to have a hat-shaped cross section. The rigidity member is constituted of an upper end part 31 fixed to the upper wall, a lower end part 32 fixed to the lower wall, and an intermediate part 33 joining the upper end part to the lower end part in a vertical direction of the vehicle, where the intermediate part is arranged with an interval in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle from the rear wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
