To provide an industrial vehicle braking control device capable of suppressing regenerative braking from being suspended without depending on an operation of a brake pedal when an industrial vehicle which uses regenerative braking travels on a downward slope under automatic operation.SOLUTION: An industrial vehicle braking control device comprises a braking section provided with a travel motor generating regenerative braking force and a mechanical brake generating mechanical braking force. A battery can be charged through the regenerative braking force. The industrial vehicle braking control device also has: a vehicle speed information acquisition section which acquires vehicle speed information of an industrial vehicle; a regenerative current acquisition section which acquires regenerative current of the travel motor; an automatic operation control section which executes an automatic operation with required braking force including the regenerative braking force used for allowing the industrial vehicle to travel on a downward slope at a target vehicle speed on the basis of the vehicle speed information; and a braking force control section which adjusts a distribution ratio of the mechanical braking force in the required braking force so that the acquired regenerative current becomes equal to or less than a first current value which is lower than a maximum regenerative current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
