To provide a vehicle body rear part structure that can secure door closing performance and demist performance while suppressing torsional rigidity of a vehicle body from deteriorating, and further can suppress quietness to an occupant from deteriorating.SOLUTION: A vehicle body rear part structure 100 comprises: a back door opening rail 102 having a surface 138 outside a vehicle contacting a back door and a surface 130 at a vehicle interior side facing the surface outside the vehicle; a luggage floor panel 104, a portion of which overlaps with the back door opening rail in a front view; a sound isolation wall 164 arranged between the surface outside the vehicle and the surface at the vehicle interior side and positioned upper than the luggage floor panel; a continuous surface 150 continuing to the surface outside the vehicle; a drafter 154 opened to the continuous surface and positioned lower than the sound isolation wall; and a plurality of holes 122a, 122b, 122c, 126a and 126b, formed in a circular shape or in an elliptical shape on the surface at the vehicle interior side and positioned vertically between the luggage floor panel and the sound isolation wall, where the hole 122a formed closest to the sound isolation wall of the plurality of holes has largest areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
