To provide a vehicular power supply system and a control method of the vehicular power supply system that secure a larger number of periods in which a motor exhibits its original function.SOLUTION: A vehicular power supply system includes a power source control device and a steering control device. A power source control part 88 includes processing for detecting an interrupted state in order to set a limit time Tth3 for detecting return from the interrupted state. The power source control part 88 includes processing for switching a power supply state to a backup state, in accompany with detection of power dropping, and processing for switching a power supply state to a normal state, in accompany with detection of an interrupted state. A limit control part 103 includes processing for setting an output limited state in response to the switching of a power supply state to the backup state. An output limited state is cancelled in response to the switching of a power supply state to the normal state, in accompany with detection of return from the interrupted state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10

    【課題】モータに本来の機能を発揮させる期間をより多く確保することができる車両用電源システム及び車両用電源システムの制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両用電源システムは、電源制御装置と、操舵制御装置とを含む。電源制御部88は、途絶状態を検出することによって、当該途絶状態からの復帰を検出するための制限時間Tth3を設定する処理を含む。電源制御部88は、電力低下中の検出に伴って、給電状態をバックアップ状態に切り替える処理と、途絶状態の検出に伴って、給電状態を正常状態に切り替える処理とを含む。制限制御部103は、給電状態のバックアップ状態への切り替えに対応するように、出力制限状態を設定する処理を含む。出力制限状態は、途絶状態からの復帰の検出に伴って、給電状態の正常状態への切り替えに対応して解除されるように構成されている。【選択図】図10
