To evaluate a prediction accuracy of a future position of an obstacle detected by using a sensor loaded on a mobile object.SOLUTION: A prediction accuracy evaluation method comprises: (A) acquiring detection information showing a detection position, detection speed, an error range of the detection position, and an error range of the detection speed of an obstacle detected by using a sensor loaded on a mobile object; (B) prediction distribution generation processing of generating prediction distribution of the position of the obstacle at second time after first time on the basis of first detection information as detection information at the first time; and (C) prediction abnormality detection processing of determining whether or not there is an abnormality in the prediction distribution on the basis of a second detection position as a detection position of the obstacle at the second time and the prediction distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
