To provide a wire rope deflection angle detector capable of accurately detecting a deflection angle of a wire rope supporting a lifting gear on a crane with a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A wire rope deflection angle detector comprises: a first sensor S1 connected to a wire rope 3 via an interlocking mechanism 4 and detecting a deflection angle θ of the wire rope 3 to which an acceleration component α and a mechanical vibration component of a crane 1 are applied; a second sensor S2 fixedly arranged on the main body of the crane 1 and detecting the acceleration component α and the mechanical vibration component of the crane 1; and a calculation mechanism for calculating the deflection angle θ of the wire rope 3 by combining the output of the first sensor S1 and the output of the second sensor S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
