To reduce the size of a spat device.SOLUTION: A spat device includes a variable support mechanism of a spat to be driven by a motor as a driving source. The spar device further includes a driving gear 61 and a driven gear 62 that are disposed in a middle of a driving force transmission path 60 and have rotation axes La, Lb in parallel to each other. A first engagement tooth 91 having a protruded tip end portion 97 is disposed on the driving gear 61, and a second engagement tooth 92 having a recessed tip end portion 98 is disposed on the driven gear 62. When the driving gear 61 rotates before the driven gear from a state where the protruded tip end portion 97 and the recessed tip end portion 98 are opposed to each other, the spat device is configured such that a gear tooth 61x located next to the first engagement tooth 91 is brought into engagement with the second engagement tooth 92 of the driven gear 62 in accordance with the rotation of the driving gear 61. Then, when the driven gear 62 is about to rotate before the driving gear, the recessed tip end portion 98 is brought into engagement with the protruded tip end portion 97 to make the first engagement tooth 91 and the second engagement tooth 92 interfere with each other, thereby restricting the rotation of the driven gear 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】スパッツ装置の小型化を図る。【解決手段】スパッツ装置は、モータを駆動源としたスパッツの可変支持機構を備える。また、スパッツ装置は、並行する回転軸La,Lbを有して駆動力伝達経路60の途中に設けられた駆動ギヤ61及び従動ギヤ62を備える。駆動ギヤ61には、凸状先端部97を有した第1係合歯91が設けられ、従動ギヤ62には、凹状先端部98を有した第2係合歯92が設けられる。また、スパッツ装置は、凸状先端部97と凹状先端部98とが互いに対向する状態から駆動ギヤ61が先に回転する場合には、その駆動ギヤ61の回転により第1係合歯91の隣に位置するギヤ歯61xが従動ギヤ62の第2係合歯92に噛合する。そして、従動ギヤ62が先に回転しようとした場合には、凹状先端部98が凸状先端部97に係合して第1係合歯91と第2係合歯92とが干渉することで、従動ギヤ62の回転が規制される。【選択図】図9
