Disclosed are a charger for an electric transportation device and a charging method. A first connector is connected with an electric motorbike. A second connector is connected with an electric vehicle. A power line communication (PLC) module receives identification information from the electric motorbike through the first connector. A pulse width modulation (PWM) module transceives a signal with the electric vehicle through a second connector. A power measurement part receives power from an external power supply, and measures power supplied from the electric motorbike or electric vehicle. A control part confirms whether the identification information of the electric motorbike is valid or not, progresses with a user authentication process in accordance with a confirmation result, and controls the power to be supplied to the electric motorbike when the user is authenticated. A switch part selectively applies or shuts off the supply of the power to the first or second connector depending on the control of the control part. A display part displays information about the power measured by the power measurement part.

    전기운송장치를 위한 충전기 및 충전 방법이 개시된다. 제1 커넥터는 전기오토바이와 연결된다. 제2 커넥터는 전기자동차와 연결된다. PLC(Power Line Communication) 모듈은 제1 커넥터를 통해 전기오토바이로부터 식별정보를 수신한다. PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 모듈은 제2 커넥터를 통해 상기 전기자동차와 신호를 송수신한다. 전력 측정부는 외부 전원으로부터 전력을 공급받고, 전기오토바이 또는 전기자동차로 공급되는 전력을 측정한다. 제어부는 전기오토바이의 식별정보가 유효한지 여부를 확인하고, 확인 결과에 따라 사용자 인증 절차를 진행하고, 사용자가 인증된 경우에는, 전기오토바이로 전력이 공급되도록 제어한다. 스위치부는 제어부의 제어에 따라 제1 커넥터 또는 제2 커넥터로 전력의 공급을 선택적으로 인가 또는 차단한다. 디스플레이부는 전력 측정부가 측정한 전력에 대한 정보를 디스플레이한다.
