The present invention relates to a system and a method for autonomous sailing by reflecting vessel propulsion control characteristics, capable of recommending the avoidance of a collision with an obstacle by reflecting components and characteristics of a vessel propulsion system differentiated from a general vessel such as a merchant ship. The system includes: a detection part including a plurality of sensors, and detecting course and velocity information of an obstacle and marine environment information by using the plurality of sensors; a control part calculating the degree of risk of a collision with the obstacle by using the acquired obstacle information and the marine environment information, and calculating final target output and a steering angle in accordance with the degree of risk of the collision to output an autonomous sailing command signal; and propulsion equipment performing a vessel sailing operation in accordance with the autonomous sailing command signal outputted from the control part.

    본 발명은 상선과 같은 일반선박과 차별되는 함정 추진체계의 구성과 특성을 반영하여 장애물과의 충돌 회피를 권고할 수 있도록 한 함정 추진제어 특성을 반영한 자율 운항 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 상기 시스템은, 다수의 센서를 포함하고, 다수의 센서를 이용하여 장애물의 침로, 속력 정보와 해양환경 정보를 탐지하는 탐지부; 획득한 장애물 정보와 해양환경 정보를 이용하여 장애물과의 충돌위험도를 계산하고, 충돌 위험도에 따른 최종 목표 출력 및 타기 각도를 산출하여 자율 운항 명령신호를 출력하는 제어부; 및 상기 제어부에서 출력되는 자율 운항 명령 신호에 따라 자함의 자함 운항을 수행하는 추진장비를 포함할 수 있다.
