An electronic brake system according to an embodiment of the disclosed present invention includes: a hydraulic pressure providing unit including a piston provided to be able to move forward or backward; a driving unit for moving the piston; a storage unit for storing movement information regarding movement of the piston; and a control unit that determines a position to which the piston is to be moved based on the previously stored movement information when a system driving (ON) signal is received, and controls the driving unit to move the piston to the determined position.

    개시된 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전자식 브레이크 시스템은 전진 또는 후진 가능하도록 마련된 피스톤을 포함하는 액압 제공 유닛; 피스톤을 이동시키는 구동 유닛; 피스톤의 이동에 관한 이동 정보를 저장하는 저장부; 및 시스템 구동(ON) 신호가 수신되면, 미리 저장된 이동 정보에 기초하여 피스톤을 이동시킬 위치를 결정하고, 결정된 위치로 피스톤이 이동하도록 구동 유닛을 제어하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
