Disclosed is a vehicle platooning driving control system and method, wherein the system comprises: a strategy determination unit which determines a braking strategy of a vehicle included in a platooning based on a driving speed of the platooning; a detection unit which detects an obstacle located in front of the vehicle in a driving direction of the vehicle included in the platooning; and a platooning control unit which controls driving of the platooning based on the obstacle detected by the detection unit and the braking strategy determined by the determination unit. According to the present invention, a collision inside the platooning is prevented.
