According to embodiments of the present invention, the present invention improves steering sensation of a driver by limiting the maximum steering angle of a steering wheel and easily changes the maximum steering angle of the steering wheel in real-time or through the minimum structural change according to necessity. The present invention relates to a steer-by-wire type steering device which comprises: a steering shaft where gear teeth are formed on an outer circumferential surface; a first gear engaged with the gear teeth of the steering shaft to be rotated; a second gear of which an inner circumferential surface is engaged with the first gear; a housing supporting rotation of the second gear; a first stopper provided to the first gear and supported by the steering shaft or the second gear according to rotation of the first gear; a second stopper provided to the second gear; and a third stopper provided to the housing and enabling the second stopper to be supported according to rotation of the second gear.

    본 실시예들에 의하면, 조향휠의 최대 조타각을 제한하여 운전자의 조향감을 향상시키고, 조향휠의 최대 조타각을 필요에 따라 실시간으로 또는 최소한의 구조변경으로 손쉽게 변경할 수 있다.
