The present invention suppresses plastic deformation of a band member due to the heat of a tyre, even when travelling at high speed. A tyre noise reduction device (1) which has sound-absorbing material (2) comprising porous bodies, has the band member (3) comprising a thermoplastic resin annularly formed along the tyre circumferential direction for mounting the sound-absorbing material to the inner surface of the tyre, and has band joining sections (4) in important places at which the band member and joining members (5) are joined to the sound-absorbing material as a result of the sound-absorbing material being sandwiched by the band member and the joining members bent into a V-shaped cross-sectional shape. The band width (WB) of the band member satisfies formula (a), the band thickness (H) (mm) in the band joining sections satisfies the relation of formula (b) with the thickness (h) (mm) of the band member, and the band cross-sectional area (A) of a cross section perpendicular to the band length direction in a band joining position is greater than 20 mm2. 20 mm ≤ WB ≤ sound-absorbing material width (mm)....(a) 0.4 ≤ H/h ≤ 0.9....(b)
