The electro-hydraulic exciter is characterized by the larger output force and amplitude. For the purpose of enhancing the frequency of electro-hydraulic vibration exciter, a new type of 2D digital directional control valve is presented. The configuration is designed with two motions freedom of a single spool, the rotary motion of the spool is driven by a stepper motor continually, the linear motion of the spool is actuated by another stepper motor with the eccentric mechanism, and the output flow rate can be controlled by changing the area of valve port periodically. It has advantage of simple configuration, anti-pollution, high frequency, no hysteresis and direct digital control. The input signal has a strict periodicity theoretically, and the variety regularity is sinusoidal wave.
