Addressing the challenges posed by the widespread distribution and large quantity of target drone debris in testing ranges, this study proposes a task allocation method for target drone debris recovery based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO). Initially, a fitness function model was developed to evaluate the efficacy of the recovery operations for target drone debris. Subsequently, the particle swarm optimization algorithm was discretized to tailor it for solving the task allocation problem of target drone debris recovery. The feasibility of the proposed method was demonstrated through a numerical example. The results of the application confirm the rationality and effectiveness of the proposed method, offering a methodological reference for the allocation of target drone debris recovery tasks.
