This paper proposes a low noise high-frequency forward converter SMPS. The primary target in the power electronics industries is to design power supplies with high efficiency, low cost, and with reliability. A high frequency switching technique is implemented in the SMPS converter to reduce the size and weight, and new topology is applied to reduce the noise and minimize the switching losses. A modified boost converter is used instead of the standard boost converter in the SMPS circuit which will work as a soft switching technique to minimize the high frequency switching losses and peak stresses on switches.
