—In the fixed-wing UAV ground target tracking problem, the UAV is equipped with photoelectric sensor which can rotate for positioning the ground target. Geometric relationship between the UAV and target described by the direction of sensor is analyzed, which is used to guide the UAV tracking ground target, and it also used to establish the simulation model. The guidance strategy is established and a lead compensation method is proposed. Finally, a dynamic simulation model of the UAV and the flight control system is established to verify the strategy.
