Transportation is a very strategic field to be developed as it relates to population mobility. Problems associated with transportation are very complex as they include several elements such as road capacity and facilities, type and number of transportation modes, behavior of passengers and drivers, and transportation policies. This paper discusses local public transport using minibusses in Bandung, commonly referred to as angkot. This type of transport vehicle is very interesting to discuss because it has several characteristics, such as the number of vehicles that increase over time, the changing routes, the behavior of the driver when picking up and dropping passengers on any street, and occupancy passengers are still classified low. The solution to overcome the disorderly behavior of drivers is done by forcing the driver only to pick up and drop off the passengers at the reserved venue. Determination of the shelter location is based on the high passenger occupancy rate based on the Kriging method. The results obtained from this study are the proposed shelter location points for urban transport, with the average passenger occupancy approaching the specified passenger capacity. based on the result of recommendation of shelter location and the test which have been done to the recommendation result, it is obtained that the accuracy level is quite good, reaching 73,55%.
