Electric vehicles have been proposed as the most efficient method of dealing with the energy crisis and reducing air pollution. This paper uses an elevation-predictive cruise controller for electric vehicles to enhance energy efficiency and battery life. Route information is used to reduce energy consumption, maintain battery health, and plan speed. In order to facilitate real-time implementation, the specified route and develop a uniform nonlinear model are implemented to elevation framing. It also demonstrates the energy-saving potential of elevation-dependent motion control. In conclusion, the test vehicle achieved an energy gain of 1.08%(50508 Wh/51053 Wh).
