In this study, the possible losses of avionics suppliers are analyzed. The mathematical models for assessing each type of financial loss are proposed. The derived equations link the indicators of warranty, reliability and maintenance effectiveness of avionics products taking into account the warranty duration, number of aircraft under warranty of the supplier, operational reliability with respect to permanent and intermittent failures, number of line replaceable units (LRUs) in a redundant avionics system, number of spare parts, cost of repair or replacement, cost of transportation, and penalties for exceeding the duration of the warranty repair or replacement. The proposed mathematical models are illustrated by numerical examples.
