The Advanced Systems Division of the U.S. Army Avionics Research and Development Activity at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, has issued Engineering Development (ED) contracts to two contractors for the Integrated Avionics Control System (IACS). One of the features of the ED progam will be a complete logistics support analysis (LSA) of Reliability Improvement Warranty (RIW) as an alternative to Army organic support. ARINC Research Corportion assisted the IACS Project Office in the development of draft RIW terms and conditions on which the LSA will be based.
