Abstract-A design methodology of bidirectional LLC resonant converter for energy storage application is proposed. Along with the design methodology, a study on LLC resonant converter with unsymmetrical characteristics in forward and backward mode is presented. Further, a comparative study is also carried out between symmetrical and unsymmetrical bidirectional LLC resonant converter.
