The statement was prepared for a section of the Louisiana Donaldsonville-New Orleans Highway, also known as the West Bank Expressway. Beginning at a point on the St. John-St. Charles Parish line some 2.2 miles south of State Route 18 and terminating at the St. James-Ascension Parish line, this facility will ultimately be a 4-lane roadway located in a 300-foot right of way. The primary impact will be the effects this four-lane, land access facility will have on the personal mobility of the area; for, no consequential environmental effects are anticipated.
