The U.S. Trade and Development Program (TDP) funded a definitional mission to study a system of upgrades/additions currently under consideration for La Aurora International Airport. The study covers the immediate and long-range needs of the La Aurora Airport, systems and infrastructure; and all factors affecting airport expansion, such as passenger and cargo needs and projections. Mission recommends a TDP grant to finance the cost of the proposed feasibility study. The report describes the detailed process for the selection of a qualified U.S. consultant to carry out the proposed study.
