The project is located in central Alaska and begins at the intersection of the Fairbanks-Anchorage Highway and the Denali Highway and ends 22.6 miles north. The new facility will consist of a 44 ft. wide subgrade and grade and alignment conforming to statewide standards for primary roadways. The wildlife will experience the most significant adverse impact and noise from traffic and establishments will effect wildlife habitat along the roadway fringes. (Author)
