An analysis of 26 different Spacelab experiment propulsion platform configurations is presented covering the determination of costs, masses, and the required volume in the shuttle payload bay. As a result of this analysis, three preferred configurations were selected: (1) hydrazine, super blowdown, isotensoid tank; (2) hydrazine, blowdown, inert gas attitude control, spherical tank; and (3) hydrazine, regulated pressurized gas system, inert gas attitude control, spherical tank.
