It is proposed to develop a new basic utility airport for use by small propeller-driven aircraft, including: construct, mark, and light a 5000 ft x 50 ft E/W bituminous surfaced runway; construct bituminous surfaced parking apron and connecting taxiway; construct bituminous surfaced auto parking area and access road; install visual approach slope indicator landing air, segmented circle, lighted wind cone, tiedown anchors and perimeter fencing. The airport will be used by small propeller-driven aircraft. Turbojet traffic is not anticipated due to the short runway length. It is not expected that the proposed project will measurably increase air and water pollution.
