In view of complex terrain, bionic hexapod robot transport vehicles are widely used, especially in the transport of power transmission and transformation materials in mountainous areas. By studying the working principle and mode of bionic hexapod walking, the locomotion gait and movement method of hexapod are analyzed. In this paper, the coordination of locomotion gait of hexapod bionic robot is studied, and the running track of hexapod robot transport vehicle is obtained. The gait characteristics of bionic hexapod robot transport vehicle are analyzed, and the changing process of each step is obtained. By analyzing the variation of its gait, the landing coordinate parameters can be obtained. At the same time, it is applied in engineering practice to solve many problems such as road condition, complex mountain road transport residue, material and so on. Practice shows that this kind of bionic robot transport vehicle has the characteristics of adapting to special environmental requirements, and its applicability will be expanded in the future, and the scope of use will be more extensive.
